One general note for Spring/Summer/early-Autumn visitors: quite a few activities outside Haute-Nendaz require taking the bus (or car) for either ~20 minutes to Siviez or ~40 minutes to Sion. Small children who aren’t used to being on the bus/car in the mountains will sometimes experience motion sickness from all the hairpin turns. So plan accordingly — e.g., stay at Sanne’s wonderful apartment for a few days, and consider staying somewhere in Sion for a few more to see the rest of the region.

Close to the main ski-lift of Nendaz with access to over 400 km of pistes. And there are freetracks, snowshoe tracks, winter hiking tracks and 2 sledge runs.
Besides a swimming in the indoor pool, you can select from many hikes, trail-runs, or mountainbike tours. If you feel adventurous you could try the Mont-Fort zipline or some paragliding.
The apartment has beautiful rooms for children and lots of toys for all ages. Next to the apartment there is a large playground, a bike park and a mini-piste in winter.
This is a part of the Nendaz Petit Trailrun, which is originally 30k, it skips an extra round uphill in Sivies.
The track is still 22k and 1050 meters uphill, with some steep climbs and challenging downhill tracks.
Starts on the main square in Nendaz,. The first part is mainly uphill from 1350 meters to 2300 meters, then you run down to Siviez and then back to Nendaz along the bisses.
Start at Siviez village up hill to the Cleuson dam. The first part follows a snowshoe track, but after a while you are leaving the official route and the the track is not prepared anymore. So it depends on the snow conditions if you are able to run here. The route climbs 450 meter, but…
