Start at Siviez village up hill to the Cleuson dam. The first part follows a snowshoe track, but after a while you are leaving the official route and the the track is not prepared anymore. So it depends on the snow conditions if you are able to run here. The route climbs 450 meter, but the track is not very steep.

The surroundings and view of the valley and the Cleuson dam are beautiful. The last part to the dam and lake can be tricky, but you won’t regret it once you have reached the frozen world on the dam.
