Supermarket

There are two supermarkets within walking distance. The Coop on Route des Ecluses 38 across the main square and the Migros on Route des Ecluses 23. Both supermarkets are open 7 days a week during high season, and close on Sundays in low season. The Coop has more food and the Migros more non-food.

Restaurants

Haute-Nendaz has many nice restaurants, some recommended are:
Le Raccard – Route de la télécabine 7- for all kinds of Swiss cheese and meat fondues.
Grill Mountain – Rte des Ecluses 7- prepare delicious meat specialities on a table grill.
Osteria il Trullo – Rte des Ecluses 12 – atmospheric restaurant with delicious pizzas from the wood-fired oven.

The square in front of the apartment

Looking down from the balcony you can see the large square. Besides the playground and the pumptrack (scooters and BMX) you’ll also find a beach volleyball court, trampolines (10 CHF per session) a panna cage (football) and a climbing tower. Directly below the apartment is the sledging meadow (in winter). Parasailers land on the square all year round and there is regularly a large tent for festivities. For instance, in winter you have the Freeride cup and in summer the Alpine Horn Festival. For info on all the festivities check out Nendaz.ch
